Jim Wixson, CFSP
Jim has been active in the foodservice industry for the last 30 years. He has seen all facets of our industry from Dealer Sales Engineer, to Manufacturers Representative, and for the last 16 years has been the Cooking Products Manager for Georgia Power Company’s Marketing Group. Jim has acquired many skill sets during his years in the industry. He has a firm grasp on design and flow, ventilation, menu development, and new technologies.
Jim received his Class 1 CFSP (Certified Foodservice Professional) designation in 1999. He is also Serve Safe certified. Jim is a "student of the business" and plays an active role in the industry. He spends much of his time training, lecturing, and assisting manufacturers in the development of new technologies or improvements to existing products. He assists customers in creating solutions for some of their issue based problems relating to sanitation and safety, productivity, profitability, and energy management.
Jim is currently the Senior Vice President of the Electric Foodservice Council, and is an active member in MAFSI’s S.E. Region 12 Chapter.
